Bridgewater School offers a great range of sports facilities for our activity camps, including the sports hall, activity rooms and outdoor area, making it an ideal venue for our summer camps in Manchester (Ofsted No. EY369540).
Bridgewater is an independent, co-educational day school, for children aged 3-18 years. The school is located in Worsley, 3 miles north west of the centre of Manchester. The school has 4 sections – Early Years, Preparatory, Senior and Sixth Form. The school’s reputation has been built on treating everyone as an individual. Extra-curricular activity is wide ranging; academic achievements are high.
Founded in 1950 as a boys’ school, it moved soon afterwards to its present semi-rural setting. Girls have been admitted since 1978 and a sixth form has been developed. Pupils are drawn mainly from the immediate locality but also from a much wider area. The school prides itself on its range of extra-curricular activities including sport, music, drama, clubs and societies, and outdoor activity breaks.
There are new buildings and facilities, including playing fields and an athletics track on site, and a new all-weather facility which make it the perfect venue for Kings Camps to provide its activity camps here.
