Kirkham Grammar School has always maintained a focus on sporting education and is an excellent venue for a children’s summer camp in Kirkham. It offers excellent sports facilities for our activity camps, including the sports hall, gymnasium, all-weather sports pitch and outdoor area, making it an ideal venue for our day camps in Kirkham (Ofsted No. EY321290).

Kirkham Grammar School is an Independent Co-educational School for pupils aged 3-18. The school prides itself on its warm family atmosphere while academic success is at the heart of the school’s aims and it has recently enjoyed record-breaking GCSE and A-level results. In its recent ISI Inspection the school was described as “a friendly, supportive community, based on mutual regard, which provides a caring, inclusive environment, in which all pupils are helped to grow in self‑confidence and self-esteem and develop their individual talents”.

The school is located on the outskirts of Kirkham and is closely situated to the main road (A583) which links Blackpool and Preston.

The school has undergone a transformation over the last decade and boasts a host of magnificent new facilities, including an outstanding floodlit all-weather surface, the fine dance studio and a new sports hall, fitness facility and changing areas which were completed in 2013.

In addition children attending Kings Camps also get to make use of the fully equipped gymnasium, netball court, rugby pitch, athletics track and cricket nets. The local swimming pool is within walking distance and is utilised regularly as part of our kids club programme.
