St Johns College School is the latest addition for Kings Camps and is the perfect venue for a children’s school holiday club in Cambridge. The venue benefits from a large sports hall, swimming pool, tennis courts, activity rooms and large outdoor areas which make it an ideal base for our kids camp (Ofsted No. EY547410).

St John’s College School traces its roots to the Seventeenth Century when it was founded by St John’s College for the education of the Choristers of the College Choir. The school is located in one of the most attractive parts of Cambridge and doubled in size upon amalgamation with the former Byron House School in 1973.

The school has been awarded national Best Prep School and national Best Prep School Head in the Tatler Schools Awards. The most recent integrated inspection by the Independent Schools Inspectorate in 2013 rated the school as excellent across all categories.

The school provides outstanding facilities, including a specialist Drama Room, a Hall / Gymnasium and small group rooms. The interior spaces at Byron House have also been completely redesigned, offering bright, spacious rooms and a new large space for children on camp.

A Multi-Sports Court, boasting a wonderful view of the garden of Garden House, is a superb resource for Kings Camps. There is spacious changing block, which backs onto the existing swimming pool and provides ample area for both boys and girls and links directly to the court. To the side of the building there are extensive grassed areas for all our activities, as well as an indoor sports hall.
