Welcome to the Carnival Cruise Lines Recruitment Process!

Below is a step by step guide on how to successfully join the Carnival family.

Stage 1: Telephone Interview with Kings Recruit

Prior to your interview please ensure that you have read through the relevant job descriptions:

Camp Carnival Youth Staff

Activity Host

And have done some research on Carnival Cruise Line.

Stage 2: Invitation to the Assessment Day

Congratulations on passing your telephone interview. For us to book you on to an Assessment Day with Carnival Cruise Lines, we need you to send us the following to:- workabroad@kingsrecurit.com

  1. Head-shot Photo (no filters!)
  2. Up to date CV (with correct contact details)

Once we have these, Kings Recruit will create you a profile on Carnival’s recruitment portal (called ROSE) to book your slot for an Assessment day (and you will now receive a confirmation email from Kings Recruit).

Stage 3: Assessment Day Prep

Thanks for sending us your details. You are now booked on to an assessment day with Carnival!

Stage 4: Congratulations, you have been successful!

Well done on passing the assessment day, you were great!

Now let’s get the ball rolling!

  1. Sign into your ROSE account HERE in order to begin the on-boarding process
  2. Add us on Facebook so that we can add you to the Carnival Cruise Lines page

If you do have any questions it is best to direct these to Carnival Cruise Line, however, we understand that you sometimes need someone to talk to over the phone- please call 0114 263 2155 (option 2) if this is the case.

Stage 5: Pre-employment Documents

In order to be assigned a ship and start date, you must obtain the following documents and upload them to your ROSE account for approval.

* Please always refer to your New Hire Hire Letter, but we always here to help 🙂 *

  1. Book a Medical Appointment
  2. Book and attend a Visa Appointment
  3. A valid DBS certificate. Must be on the update service or be dated in the last 2 months
  4. Upload 2 references to ROSE
  5. All Youth Staff must have a valid First Aid certificate with infant CPR, and Fun Squad must have a First Aid with CPR certificate. Course must be done in-person, we suggest booking with St. John Ambulance Service (If you have a first aid certificate already, please note that Carnival see a certificate as valid for 2 years only, regardless of the expiration date on your certificate). “Essential First Aid (All Ages)” is sufficient.

There are other checks exclusive to Carnival Cruise Line, please refer to Maria and your New Hire Letter for more information about how to complete these.

Stage 6: Pending Ship Assignment

Well done, the hard work is over! You will now be placed on a waiting list for a start date, and Carnival will be in touch as soon as they have one! NEARLY THERE!

Stage 7: Farewell

You have your assignment – so you know where you are going, what ship and when! Please see below a document list of what to take with you upon embarkation.
